A unique fine art print featuring hand-pressed seaweed, sustainably collected from the beaches of the Northern Rivers, NSW Australia.
This seaweed is called Griffithsia monilis (latin for necklace). Fresh from the ocean it looks like a beautiful string of ruby beads or gems. Each 'bead' is a plump, fluid-filled sac which takes time and patience to press.
A thoughtful piece for ocean lovers, beachcombers and those drawn to the hidden beauty of the natural world and art that carries a story — a small piece of the ocean to bring into the home.
